Two mammoth releases present Peter Heise
04 February 2021The Danish composer Peter Heise is known for his lyrical and melodical talent. Now his great opera success Drot og Marsk (King and Marshal) is being released in a new recording from The Royal Danish Theatre as well as his collected songs – almost 300 all told – sung by 18 different singers, accompanied by the promoter of the project, the pianist Christian Westergaard.

August Enna's 'Kleopatra' nominated for the 'German Record Critics’ Award'

18 January 2021On 12 February, the recording of all of Peter Heise’s songs will appear on the Peter Heise: The Song Edition album. The pianist Christian Westergaard accompanies 18 of the leading singers in northern Europe on the album, and as an intro to the release of the album you can see an interview with Christian Westergaard about his work on the almost 300 songs.

Bent Sørensen to be P2 Artist 2021
06 January 2021On 26 February, the annual P2 Music Award will be awarded in Odense Concert Hall, where Bent Sørensen will receive the award of P2 Artist 2021. At the concert, Bent Sørensen’s trumpet concerto from the release Concertos will be performed, with Tine Thing Helseth as soloist.
