In his sacred choral works Niels Otto Raasted buit on the experience of his studies with the German composer Max Reger. The result was beautifuk polyphonic a cappella works suffosed by the legacies of the Renaissance and Baroque mixed ith bold harmonic ideas. It is no coincidence that Raasted was a co-founder of the Bach Association in 1925. In his own time Raasted was known as an outstanding organist, but here we can meet himas the all-round composer he also was.
