Alba String Quartet is an ambitious and dynamic ensemble based in Copenhagen. Founded in 2013, and currently studying with professor Tim Fredriksen at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
The quartet has played at events such as the Nielsen prize ceremony, Green Capital days in Copenhagen and as part of the Carl Nielsen 150 years official celebration. Alba String Quartet has received coaching and attended masterclasses with renowned chamber musicians such as Lars Anders Tomter, Morten Ryelund, Peter Sheppard, Jakob Kullberg and Peter Herresthal.
