Mogens Winkel Holm (1936-1999) occupies an important place in Danish music, especially because of the great variety of roles he played: originally an oboist, he was also choreographer, organizer in the Danish ISCM section, chairman of the Danish Composers' Society, and a member of countless boards and comittees.
