Tue Lautrup

Tue Lautrup (violin), born in 1973, trained in Århus and Paris. He made his debut in 1997 in Copenhagen and is a member of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra/DR. He has received the Jacob Gade Grant, the Aennchen and Eigil Harby Foundation Grant, the Léonie Sonning Music Foundation Grant and most recently the Kammersanger Holm Grant, which was presented at a Thursday Concert in the DR Concert Hall on 13th February 1998. As a chamber musician Tue Lautrup is a permanent member of the Diamond Ensemble and the Zapolski Quartet and regularly appears as a guest in among other contexts Trio con Brio’s concerts. In 2003 his many years of partnership with the pianist Jacob Nielsen led to a CD of violin sonatas by Franck, Prokofiev and Debussy.
