    The Scandinavian Wind Quintet was fommed in 1982 by students of theRoyal Danish Academy of Music. It has established a leading position foritself on Danish and international concert platforms and is now one of themost sought after chamber ensembles in Denmark. In 1983 it won the Prixde la Ville Martigny and in 1986 the Prix Fondation Pierre Gianada at theinternational chamber music competition in Martigny, Switzerland. TheScandinavian Wind Quintet has given concerts and recitals in Scandinavia,France, Germany, and Switzerland.
