Katinka Fogh Vindelev
Katinka Fogh Vindelev, a Danish soprano, performer, and composer with a classical background, is renowned for her innovative work that fuses extensive voice training with a pioneering approach to compositional and performative realms. Immersed in the realm of contemporary classical music and opera, Fogh Vindelev has premiered a series of groundbreaking works by Danish composers, including Lil Lacy's One World Above Another Below , Line Tjørnhøj's HIMMEL, Louise Alenius's Stille slag, John Frandsen's Dyrets år – 1666, Karsten Fundal's Liquid Rooms and ongoing collaborations with composer Signe Lykke. Together, they have established Motherboard, a company of interdisciplinary artists dedicated to co-creating a new opera trilogy inspired by poetic, documentary, and bodily perspectives. In 2021, she was honored with the Léonie Sonning Talent Prize.
