Jonas Olesen

Jonas Olesen is an electronic composer, sound artist, and writer. He is educated in electronic composition at DIEM, the Danish Institute of Electronic Music at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, where he has also taught composition and the history of electronic music. Since 2007, he is running the record label BIN and is a co-founder of the Institute of Danish Sound Archaeology. Olesen has written about electronic music for the newspaper Information and the magazine Seismograf, and in 2022 he published the book Pioneers & Outsiders – Danish Electronic Music 1928–1980.
