Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbjærg

composer
1963
Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbjærg studied instrumental and electronic composition at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen (with Ib Nørholm and Ivar Frounberg as his teachers), and privately with J.W. Morthenson, as well as computer composition at the Institut voor Sonologie in The Hague and at IRCAM in Paris, where he was also engaged as a composer, researcher and instructor. He has composed instrumental and vocal works, works for instruments and electronics, and pure tape works. Since 1996 he has worked as a full-time composer. He is very interested in the physical/acoustic nature of instruments, as well as the phenomenology of natural sounds.
