Gustav Johansson

The Swedish bass singer Gustav Johansson is a graduate of the Royal Danish Opera Academy and the Royal Danish Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. In 2022, he made his debut at the Royal Danish Theatre in Dmitri Shostakovich's The Nose. Johansson also wrote and produced his own solo show, Fredmans kærlighed (Fredman's Love), based on Carl Michael Bellman's songs. Additionally, he was featured in the critically acclaimed performance of Eight Songs for a Mad King by Peter Maxwell Davies, alongside the Norwegian Insimul Sinfonietta.
