David Danholt

Tenor David Danholt graduated from the Royal Opera Academy and from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen. He is a popular concert and opera soloist both in Denmark and abroad. In 2014 David Danholt won the International Wagner Competition in Seattle. David Danholt has been awarded the Léonie Sonning Talent Prize, the Reumert Talent Prize, the Danish Music Critics’ Association Prize and the Aksel Schiøtz Prize. He has made several recordings, the latest a CD with late romantic Danish music for tenor and organ with Jørgen Ellegård Frederiksen.
