Copenhagen Classic is the only professional string sextet in Denmark.
Within remarkably short time Copenhagen Classic has established itself as one of Denmark's leading chamber groups. A highly versatile ensemble, based on a string sextet, but often incorporating pano or winds when needed. This enables the group to do an unusual an inventive program planning.
Already highly in demand at home and abroad, Copenhagen Classic has recieved great critical acclaim since it's debut in 1997, and has been appointed "Ensemble in Recidence " at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

Contemporary, danish music is also a part of Copenhagen Classic's repertoire, and several works have been premiered by the group.
The ensemble members are all leading instrumentalists and chamber musicians, a suitable mix of youth and experience.
