Carsten Bo Eriksen

Carsten Bo Eriksen studied composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. (USA) and later at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen as a pupil of Ib Nørholm. He has worked with electro-acoustics under the guidance of Ivar Frounberg. In addition he has spent time on Bali, where he studied gamelan music. His works have been performed at The Other Opera and on Danmarks Radio, and he has collaborated with both the Danish Chamber Players and the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra. Carsten Bo Eriksen took the initiative to form the ensemble Nordlys. He has composed a good deal of film music, rock and jazz and is also active as a visual artist.
