Inge Bønnerup

Inge Bønnerup studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and made her debut in 1964. She continued her studies with Gaston Litaize and Marie-Claire Alain in Paris and has participated in master classes in Holland and Italy. Inge Bønnerup specializes in music of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and in contemporary repertoire. She has toured most of Europe and Australia, and has given the first performances of works by Leif Thybo and other living Danish composers. Among her recordings is the complete works of Buxtehude for Danacord. Since 1972 Inge Bønnerup has been organist of Trinitatis Kirke in Copenhagen. She received the Ove Christensen Scholarship in 1965 and the Tagea Brandt Travel Scholarship in 1989.
