Per Nørgård is the most prominent Danish composer after Carl Nielsen. He is also a wide-ranging personality whose signature can be found almost anywhere in Danish music, and whos has taught and inspired a host of Scandinavian composers. This disc contains three of his major orchestral works from the late sixties and the seventies.
