C.E.F. WEYSE (1774-1842) began his career as a strong fan and follower of W.A. Mozart, but soon developed an irresistibly personal and truly national attitude to his art. This exclusive Perspectives collection of Weyse's finest vocal and instrumental works fully portrays the composer's genius as well as his status as the first composer of the Danish Golden Age period.
