Peter Lodahl (tenor) trained at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus and at the Opera Academy in Copenhagen with Susanna Eken, and in 2006-09 has been a member of the soloist corps of the Komische Opera in Berlin, where he has sung among other roles Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Rodolfo in La Bohème, Alfred Germont in La Traviata, Rinaldo in Armida and Belmonte in The Abduction from the Seraglio. He has sung all over Scandinavia, in Germany, Austria, Italy and Japan. He has been a guest performer at the Royal Danish Theatre, at the Gothenburg Opera, the Norwegian National Opera and the Hamburg Staatsoper and has sung under conductors like Kazushi Ono, Pier-Giorgio Morandi, Manfred Honeck, Peter Schreier, Günter Neuhold, Michael Schønwandt and Andreas Sperring. Peter Lodahl won First Prize in the Gösta Winbergh Award 2006, and the next year was nominated by the German magazine Opernwelt as New Generation Artist of the Year for his role as Pylades in Iphigenia in Tauris.
