The Danish Chamber Players is one of the leading chamber ensembles in Denmark. The ensemble consists of eight musicians playing: flute, clarinet, bassoon, harp, piano, violin, viola and cello. As a state-financed regional ensemble, The Danish Chamber Players is required to perform classical music at the highest level in concerts, cultural productions, on recordings etc. The Danish Chamber Players has worked with a number of prominent conductors, soloists and composers, and have performed with a repertoire stretching from intimate chamber music to experimental musical drama productions. Danish music and contemporary works is a distinctive part of the ensemble profile. Also, The Danish Chamber Players likes crossing boarders, working with other musical genres and other cultural art forms. Concert tours has taken place in Sweden, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Singapore, Australia and Argentina.
