Asger Troelsen, organist and precentor at the church Ravnsbjergkirken in Viby J., trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Aarhus with the cathedral organist Anders Riber as his teacher. He has also studied with Marie-Claire Alain in Toulouse in France. In 1977 he was awarded a grant to study with Floor Peters in Belgium. Asger Troelsen was engaged by Ravnsbjergkirken in 1977 and has extensive concert activities behind him, partly as a soloist and partly with Duo Danica. He has toured in Scandinavia, Germany and the USA and has premiered Jehan Alain’s vocal music in Denmark. He teaches organ at the Vestervig School of Sacred Music.
