Michael Nyvang, composer

About:
Michael Nyvang os one of he most striking personalities of the youngest generation of Danish composers. He trained with Per Nørgård and Karl Aage Rasmussen, but probably his most important impulses came from his studies in Paris with the composer Tristan Murail. Movements for a Monument to the Loneliness of Our World for piano bears the stamp of his strong will to expression and a refined, subtle treatment of sound.
