Hubert Wild

baritone
Hubert Wild (baritone). Born in Karlsruhe. Studied violin, singing and piano at the conservatory in Cologne/Aachen and in Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau’s singing class in Berlin. In 1995 sang as guest at the Aalto-Theater in Essen and on opera stages in Germany, Italy and Holland. Awards include Internationale Robert-Schumann-Wettbewerb and Toti dal Monte in Treviso, Italy. His repertoire ranges over roles such as Papageno in The Magic Flute, Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte, Eugen Onegin, Count Boni in The Czardas Princess and many others in both older and contemporary music, also singing as an alto.
