About:
Nordic landscape and Swedish poetry meet Central European modernism in the intuitive, inwardlooking mood paintings of the Dane Axel Borup-Jørgensen. The four central orchestral works on this CD a´re lyrical/impressionistic evocations of nature: a Swedish landscape, a summer's day, the sea, and autumn. Light, colour and movement tranformed into sound in music that appears to be painted rather than composed.
