Gramophone's reviewer said earlier in the year:

"Ars Nova Copenhagen reaffirms its status as an outstanding vocal ensemble with luminous and pure choral singing."

And the BBC Music Magazine, which has also given top marks to the nominated CD, says:

"The performance is first-rate throughout. Natural, tractable voices create characterful images".

The French music magazine Diapason, with its top rating of 5, is among the ranks of periodicals that single out the Danish CD release; here for example with the words "Superbement dramatique!".
