Peter Danstrup has played in many jazz and jazz-rock groups in Denmark; for example John Tchicaiand Strange Brothers, the New Jungle Orchestra, Six Winds and Jan Kaspersen. He has also recorded in his own name with the Moroccan gnawa musician Mustapha Baqbou (dacapo DCCD 9426).
