Gevork Muradian

Gevork Muradian graduated from the Conservatory in Yerevan in 1992, then continued his studies in Vienna. In 1974-90 he conducted the Armenian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, with which he recorded many compositions which are still played today on Armenian and Russian radio. In 1983 he won First Prize in the Soviet Conductors’ Competition, in 1991 he became conductor of the Yerevan Symphony Orchestra, and since 1995 he has been artistic director and conductor of the Armenian Philharmonic Choir.
