Christen Stubbe Teglbjærg trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Karen Levinsen, and received his diploma there in 1985. Later he supplemented his training with studies in Vienna and courses with among others Geoffrey Parsons, Irwin Gage, Roger Vignoles and Helmut Deutsch. In 1987 Christen Stubbe Teglbjærg made his debut from the soloist class, and since then he
has worked freelance as a repetiteur/accompanist at among other places the Academy in Copenhagen, the Opera Academy and the Royal Theatre. Since 1996 he has been employed as a lecturer at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. He accompanies many leading Scandinavian singers, and has often appeared on radio and TV and on recordings. He has received among other honours the grant Walther Schröder og Hustrus Legat and the Chamber Music Prize of the Bikuben Foundation.
