Bo Lundby-Jæger

Bo Lundby-Jæger (b. 1964 in Odense) received his degree as an pianist, both in Denmark at Carl Nielsen Acedemy of Music Odense and Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Prof. Rosalind Bevan and studied abroad in London with Christopher Elton, Head of Keyboard Studies at Royal Academy of Music. Lundby-Jæger has studied conducting with Frans Rasmussen and organ with Jens E. Christensen, organ player at Our Saviour's Church, Copenhagen. He is a co-founder of the international acclaimed ensemble for contemporary music FIGURA, which since 1992 has given numerous concerts in Denmark and abroad. From 1994 he has worked as an repetituer and accompagnist at The Other Opera, an opera compagny solely for contemporary musicdrama. Lundby-Jæger has written pieces in numerous chamber constellations, two operas and symphonic pieces. From 2002–2005 he was the recipient, as a composer, of The Danish Art Foundation's 3-year working grant.
