Anne Marie Fjord Abildskov studied at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Odense and the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Her teachers include Rosalind Bevan, José Ribera and Tove Lønskov.
Next to her solo and chamber music activities Anne Marie has been a member of Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen since 1990. Her repertoire spans from the classic to modern music repertoire.
As a soloist she performed with BIT20 Ensemble, Oslo Sinfonietta, Århus Sinfonietta and Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen. She performed as a soloist during the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, in the Berliner Philharmonic (Magma 2002) as well as during the Ultima Festival in Oslo.
