Andrea Stadel (soprano). Born in Germany. Studied singing at the conservatory and Institut für Musiktheater in Karlsruhe. Focuses on early music in her work. Grants from Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes, Deutscher Musikrat, the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and the Paula and Albert Salomon Foundation. Has won several competitions. Since 2006 member of the ensemble at Theater Lübeck, where she has sung roles such as Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Eurydice in Orpheus in the Underworld, Hilda Mack in Henze’s Elegie für junge Liebende and Papagena in The Magic Flute.
