The cathedral choir in Århus, also known as Skt. Clemens Kantori, consists of 16 singers, who are all deeply involved in the musical life of the city, not least via the Århus Royal Academy of Music. The choir sings at services in the cathedral and gives three or four concerts annually. In 2005 it recorded its first cd, Dietrich Buxtehude’s “Membra Jesu nostri” with cantatas for soloists, choir and chamber orchestra. Its artistic director is the cathedral choirmaster Carsten Sejer Hansen.
