The German violinist Christian Tetzlaff is recognised today as one of the most inspiring musicians of his generation. He has been engaged by many of the world's leading orchestras including the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic, the Boston and Chicago Symphony, all the major London orchestras as well as the NHK Orchestra Tokyo and is a regular guest with major festivals like Ravinia, Tanglewood, Salzburg, Schleswig-Holstein, the London Proms and the Edinburgh Festival. With his special affinity for chamber music, he collaborates regularly with such distinguished colleagues as Boris Pergamenschikov, Heinrich Schiff, Tanja Tetzlaff, Tabea Zimmermann, Leif Ove Andsnes, Matthias Kirschnereit and Lars Vogt.
