Fabienne Jost (soprano) is born in Lothringen. Studied singing in Metz, at the Opera Studio in Strasbourg and in Frankfurt am Main. Has won the Mozart singing competition in Salzburg and has sung at the theatres in among other places Erfurt, Lübeck, Rostock, Cottbus, Linz, Krefeld-Mönchengladbach and at the Landesbühnen Sachsen. Major roles have been Anna and Elvira in Don Giovanni, Cio-Cio San in Madame Butterfly, Elisabeth in Tannhäuser, the title roles in Tosca, Salome and Aida as well as Lisa in The Land of Smiles. She is now a member of the ensemble at Stadttheater Bern, where her roles have included Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus and Giulietta in Tales of Hoffmann.
