Erik Heide (violin) who is originally from Sweden, made his debut from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen in 1998 and from Köln Musikhochschule in 2000. He is first violinist in the Danish National Chamber Orchestra as well as in the Copenhagen Philharmonic. Alongside this he has had an extensive soloist career and not least a career as a chamber musician in Trio Ondine. Trio Ondine has been DR Artist of the Year and
New Generation Artists at the BBC as well as Artists-in-Residence for the Duisburg Philharmonic. The trio is probably the most frequent prizewinner among international ensembles in Denmark. Erik Heide teaches chamber music at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen.
